New Patients

Your Referral

All New and Existing Patients attending Far North Fertility require a current referral provided by your GP or Specialist. Partners are also required to provide a Referral as part of our comprehensive Patient Assessment. Please note GP Referrals are valid for 12 months and Specialist Referrals are valid for 3 months.

Booking Your Appointment

Once we have received your referral it will then be triaged within 2 weeks. A member of our friendly team will contact you to arrange your Initial Appointment with a Fertility Specialist. You will be emailed an Initial Consult Letter providing further information, and New Patient Information Forms for you to complete and return prior your Initial Appointment. Your Initial Appointment

A member of our team will contact you 3-5 days prior to your appointment to confirm that you will be attending.

Many people are nervous about their first visit with a Fertility Specialist. The first visit is an opportunity to:

  • Review your Health and Fertility History
  • Discuss Factors that may be Affecting your Fertility
  • Receive Education regarding your Natural Fertility
  • Discuss and arrange Fertility Tests if relevant
  • Discuss possible Fertility Treatments if relevant
